Assassins Creed Revelations

My Ultimate in Gaming, I love this Franchise, and in Revelations the Characters are sexy, sassy, and much loved by us all. Beautiful Set with Stunning scenery as always. By now Ezio has to be the hardest working man in video games. Ezio is 52 and still very much committed to saving the world.

The game begins with Desmond washed up on the shore line in the Animus, here he runs into a man called simply 16 who worrying informs Desmond that the memories of Ezio and Altair have become fused within his mind, meaning that if he returns to his body to soon before he finishes exploring them, he will go into mental arrest with dire consequences.

He needs to follow Ezio into Constantinople of 1511 AD, as he searches for an item that could end the war between the Templars and the Assassins.

Most of the action takes place in Constantinople, when the Ottoman Empire is on the rise, it is an impressive venue for adventure.

It goes without saying, as this is an Assassins Creed game, that everything in the detail is historically accurate and beautifully gorgeous to the eye.

However a few flaws still remain, the free running is still twitchy. Climbing is more advanced than ever, routes are not always that clear up towers and buildings, but who am I to quibble. I am liking the introduction of parachutes though, as sometimes hitting the jump button at the wrong time and Ezio will just kick off the building and come crashing to the ground.

Some of the controls have changed slightly which took a little time to get to grips with, so I'd say be careful with that one and defo do the training section to get used to those. Just remember if you are at the top of a tower don't press Y.  Y won't give you the panoramic view point animations as in the other games of the series, it will however fired Ezio's flintlock.

Ezio Auditore, to simply put it, is the only reason you need to pick up a copy of Assassins Creed: Revelations, and I can confidently say after falling for this hunk of a video game character Revelations is one of the best titles to come out of 2011.

Playstations New 3D TV

Sony's ever popular games console may be about to step up even further in desirability with the recently announced arrival of the PlayStation 3D TV. Sony announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo during June 2011 that they will bring the model to market alongside their existing range of 3D TVs in an attempt to take the 3D games market by storm. Sony are planning to use breakthrough technology which allows two players to see individual different game images on screen by simply pressing a button, revolutionising the existing split screen method, and opening up new potential in the ways that competitive games are played.

It all sounds good, doesn't it? But there are some drawbacks. The major one is that the dual player mode will only work with 3D games that have been specially created to take advantage of it. Clearly that means that all existing games will be incompatible from this perspective, though of course you'll be able to play them as a single player in 3D. Sony will reportedly have around 100 fully compatible games released by the end of the year.

However, most people know 3D from the movies of the 1950s, which is sometimes called the Golden Era of 3D films. Many will also remember many of the 3D movies which were released in the 1980s and the 1990s - but it wasn't until Avatar dazzled and amazed movie goers last year that new 3D technology was once again on everyone's mind.

While movies has received most of the attention, many observers of popular culture believe, it is in the area of computer gaming where this new 3D technology will have the greatest impact. This could spell the beginning of changing "HOW" people play their video games. Some pundits would go so far as to say we are at the beginning stages of a major computer gaming revolution. The fallout is still unknown, but there's no denying 3D is loudly entering stage left and auditioning for the leading role.

But it is in gaming and home entertainment where 3D is making the most inroads. Gamers will embrace 3D (with or without glasses) but only if it gives them a superior gaming experience.

3D games are much easier to find than 3D movies. Most games that have been made for the PS3, Xbox, and Wii are made using a 3D format. You can find many of the newest games at local electronics stores, and also at many retail locations. There are also game stores that trade older 3D games or give you a discount on used games. A quick search through clearance bins at a mall game store may produce some 3D gaming gold that you can take home and start to play immediately. Most of the new gaming systems also connect directly to the Internet, and allow you to download new games using your online connection.

If you are really excited about 3D movie and game technology, you could look into an online forum that caters to 3D enthusiasts. These forums provide a place to chat with other 3D users, and exchange information about the 3D market in your location or online. You will learn the latest developments in 3D technology, and everyone will have an opinion about it. Forum members are usually very candid about their experiences with several different types of 3D content, and you will learn quite a lot about the latest upgrades and updates. Forums can take a while to browse through, but they are excellent resources for buying 3D movies and games.

Grand Theft Auto V

GTA is the mother of all free roaming games. GTA: Vice City created such a spree in the gaming public that it easily became one of the most addictive games of all time. Meanwhile, GTA: San Andreas used the momentum from Vice City to propel itself from being one of the biggest games of all time to becoming one of the all-time best. The best quality of GTA: San Andreas is the way it captured the whole era (90's) and transformed it. This was a first in any form of media experience ever.

This game is wonderful. I love GTA 5. There are beautiful fast cars that really nice.

9mm- 17 round magazines, decently powerful, faster fire rate than the Combat Pistol (Desert Eagle) semi-auto.

Desert Eagle- Very powerful pistol, hard to find;google location when you get to Bohan. Favorite weapon in the game. Substitutes for 9mm ammo. Semi-auto.

50 round clip- very fast and loud weapon, personally my favorite out of the 2, because of larger mags and fire rate. Great damage. Automatic

Combat Shotgun- Very powerful, decent range, semi-auto, 10 round, I see this shotgun as a very fast shooting weapon for a shotgun that is.

Grenade- A small bomb that can be thrown and will explode in your hand if you don't release it soon enough. This handy bomb can blow up vehicles and create a domino effect if the cars are close enough to each other creating fun multiple explosions and also some difficult stars to avoid if the explosions continue.

TIP: Try not to throw grenades out of a car unless you are moving, and grenades inflict a great amount of damage to your enemy and yourself, be careful with the nifty little devices as they can hurt you just as much as the enemy.

(Just for fun I tossed a grenade on the ground, it blew up and wiped out all my armor and 10 percent of my health with one grenade)

Knife- Great for shanking Taxi drivers after they charge you a fee for the ride! Taxi drivers actually hold more money than you pay for the ride after they are swimming in blood on the concrete.

you can get the game from our site for both X-box and soon for PS3, you can also watch the trailer.

GTA V for X-BOX

GTA V for PS3

Los Santos may be a place that exists only in the boundaries of Grand Theft Auto, but it remains very much a proxy of the real life Los Angeles.

Grand Theft Auto V will mark the 5th time in 2 generations that Rockstar Games has used the Los Santos / Los Angeles backdrop. We feel there is a slight love affair going on for this city behind the scenes at Rock Star.  Don't be alarmed there are more and more layers of life to this game than ever before, keeping you as always on the edge of your seat and in midst of a pure gangster heaven.

A Brief History - Update

In 2011 it was reported that the Games industry is Projected to grow an additional 30% by 2016, currently the gaming industry produces sales of over 18 billion per year. Colleges and degrees specifically for game design and production are becoming increasingly advanced and popular, and in the UK there is a mass shortage of skills in this section. From the Start of the history of gaming in 1958 to modern day this is a magnificent jump into being an industry that everybody loves and will be around for a very very long time. No matter what age, we all as human being love to play games. And now is the best time to teach yourself the skills you need to succeed and get ahead of the rest, get into a career you deserve and desire.

Arising as a prominent branch of game development in the 1970s after the huge success of arcade video games, game designers as we know them today were tasked with designing the bulk of content for the game, including the rules, storyline, characters and overall appeal. Today, game designing is a multi-million dollar industry that's only expected to grow larger as technology advances. First person shooters became really popular when Wolfenstein hit the gaming industry more than 20 years ago. It was then the most exciting and popular FPS to ever grace the gaming shelves and if you didn't own the game, you weren't cool.

The image below is from the RPG iphone version.

Just about everyone played Wolfenstein, from young kindergarten kids to grown adults. Then a short while later Duke Nuken 3D hit the streets and FPS was firmly established as the most popular theme in gaming history.

Every gaming developer jumped on the bandwagon and designed some form of FPS. It seemed nothing would beat FPS and their march to undisputed king of games was almost a certainty. But alas, the gaming industry can change as fast as the weather and just when the sun seemed to shine the brightest on FPS titles, Battlefield and Call of Duty hit the shelves and all other FPS died in that blaze of gunfire. No one played any other FPS again. Battlefield and Call of Duty ruled the roost and they still do. An end of an era had begun.

The Elder Scrolls, FIFA 12, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Assassins Creed

The Elder Scrolls

TES is an Epic Fantasy Role Playing Video Game, developed by Bethesda Game Studios.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was announced December 2011, it was released November 2011.
The Game takes you into an immense world packed with tasks, beautiful art design, fantastic atmospheres, Dragon battles, and lots of self contained stories in addition to the main one.
This game will definately suck up hours of your time as you loose yourself in the wonders of the world
expect many sleepless nights:

FIFA 12

Ok so we know it is no easy task to turn the worlds most love sport into a video game, and a good game at that. Like its predecessors it still has all the likeable game play and content but with: Defensive Improvements, making matches noticeably more balanced. This game offers the best realistic animations so far of any football  games, and excellent presentation with great new on-line modes and matchmaking. If you loved the old FIFA' this will blow you away.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare

With such a well loved and well rehearsed script to follow there's not really much room for improvement.
This game is satisfying and vicious and knows exactly what the player is looking for and expects. A classic game no more can be said that just goes from strength to strength.

Assassins Creed Revelations

Being one of my favourite games ever I an not fault the Assassins franchise in anyway, totally biased. The game marks the end of 2 eras for Ezio and Altair. Ultimately this is the best chapter as a conclusion to the 4 game narrative. Witnessing the pair finally coming to grips with their lives, is truly a remarkable experience.
